WIP
LineWorks
WIP is the tool for tracking and monitoring jobs and material
throughout the enterprise manufacturing process, offering
views from the bird's-eye view right down to the individual
process steps of each job.
LineWorks WIP can be used independently or integrated with
existing Production Planning (PPS) or Enterprise Resource
Planning (ERP) Systems. LineWorks WIP supports production
control and the monitoring of material flow (orders, charges,
lots or serial numbers), and is the key element in a reliable
production environment.
LineWorks WIP allows managers or engineers to track jobs within
shopfloor production areas in vaious industries. "Work
in Process Tracking" means monitoring the previous, current
and future process steps, with regard to the numbers of good,
failed an scrapped parts resulting from each individual process
step
