Supplier Quality Managermant System (SQM) is consisted of the major three parts including Electronic Certification of Analysis in IQC (COA), Automation of Input Quality Control(IQC), and Supplier Quality Analysis.

For the quality of production, to start control process from material supplied system is more effective than from process control system. Moreover, it can reduce some production costs. The convention supplier quality management system focuses only on electronic workflow and material specification determination. It's very different from SQM. SQM focuses on quality and data analysis for IQC. And SQM also applies the QC concept of Statistics Process Control (SPC) to enhance the ability of exception alarm beforehand and quality control. The alert mechanism of SQM can alert supplier and the related engineers near real time. It can reduce the handling time of abnormal situation and exceptions and loss of production line.
